Yahoo Home Page Has A Huge Red Box From The Search Box Down, Covering Most Of The Page.?

I downloaded recovery software to find lost photos. The software instructed me to change some of my settings before starting the scan. The next time I brought up Yahoo, the red box was there. I have no idea what setting I changed that may have caused this.
