Any One Familiar With A Company Called Satellitesoft That Offers Software To Watch Satellite Tv On Computers?

It’s called Satellite TV to PC. The company charges $49.95 for the software. It gives you great movie demos to watch, but I am not sure this is someting to invest. My original search was for a means of burning movies from Satellite TV to my laptop. Any ideas on this as well?

   Don’t waste your money.
   There are no satellite tuners for PCs. The only way is to take the video out from a satellite PVR/set-top box and feed it to the video input of your laptop. This assumes the program is not copy-protected or your laptop video capture card bypasses macrovision.

   This Satellite TV for PC software is useful if you want to watch tv on your PC. I use it everyday and to me it is a very useful piece of software.
   I can catch up on news or sports in my study room without going to my TV room and at work as well I can watch TV in between breaks . Even more useful is when I travel. I can watch my shows even in the airport or in the hotel.
