I know that most people thinks Acronis True Image is one of the best back-up software out there.
But, I have read that people have had trouble performing a complete recovery from a image copy that they had made.
That is, in event of a “disaster” such as having to re-install Windows, they have not been able to do a complete recovery from the copy they made.
I would like someone who have used Acronis to answer this question.
Thank you

go to the website and do an update. I have VISTA and they contacted me and told me to update. I was successful…finally… in doing my backup. This should work for you. It seems like a good program…Good luck!
i am professionaly using acronis from last 3 years and never had any problem with the backups. WE use GFS backup strategy as our disaster recovery plan.
its a good idea to have multiple backups in case one gets corrupt.
