My Cousin went to Mexico and accidentally formated all his images from his trip. he then took 3 pictures afterwards and then called me. He was using and Canon Rebel XT wih a compact flash.
Can we still recover the images? If so can anyone recommend a good recovery software that is not to expensive?

Use the software below.
Its free and while being a little (but not too) difficult to use, is the best software I have found and is free!
No luck without some extreme forensics. Those flash memory cards write over itself, so the old info was written over when erased.
