John G,
Antivirus is not included in the product you mentioned. I would recommend Avast antivirus, personal edition. It is free and can be renewed automatically once a year by email. Also, like that Ron Popeil guy says, you just set it and forget it. It includes the antivirus itself, and a virus database updater, which keeps up with the latest viruses. It costs you nothing, and is by far the best AV program I have ever run. Be careful though, sometimes it talks to you. I have been using it for 4 years, and have never had a problem.
Hope this helps. Good luck!
Just google Avast, and download it.

I have a number of installed software applications on my C:\ drive that I do not use regularly and I want to move them to another hard disk drive with more space. I remember Partition Magic had a utility to move installed software applications, but when I recently looked, I could not the function. I does not appear as part of the Norton Distribution.
I have looked at Laplink, but that is more suited to transferring installed software applications from one computer to another.
As a result, can some suggest a utility that I can purchase to do this?

Some software is free to download and ends up being a trial version – you can use it for awhile which could be even quite awhile. Some software is free forever and ever. Some of either of those two types is supported by advertising that appears in the window when you use the software. Some is not. So you have four types of software: Trial type with ads, Trial type without ads, Truly free with ads, Truly free without ads.
In addition, some of the truly free software has a built-in button you can click to “donate to the cause…” You might consider this to be advertising, or maybe not.

Yes, “Recover My Files” will do it very easily. Make sure you configure it properly

I want to combine a poem that I have written and a picture of some scroll stationary that I have found on line and then saved to my computer. I need to know what software program is best for this.

I’m thinking of outsourcing a company to build a software application for my company. Looking through company’s portfolios, I came upon the question- what should I be looking for in a good software design? What are the benchmarks and features, whether aesthetic or functional, that I should be searching for in their previous work?

I purchased a Toshiba PDR-M70 from a friend who is currently searching for the software that goes with it. Is there anywhere on the web I can find the software for downloading. I checked Toshiba’s site and found upgrades but not original software. If I download the upgrade, will it load the complete version or will it search for existing software to upgrade?
