Good Free Antivirus And Firewall Software?

What are some free reliable antivirus and firewall program?
I have 4 computers, two of which I only turn on about once a month.
I want a good free antivirus (real time) program and a firewall program.
I run Windows XP. Is Windows XP firewall good enough by itself?
