How To Open An Excel And A Powerpoint Document In Iwork Software?

I have many documents of excel and powerpoint 2007, and I’d like to open them on my Mac using iwork software, how can I do that?
N.B: extensions of excel and powerpoint 2007 not working in iwork.

    Get OpenOffice which is free and will open excel and powerpoint documents: http://www.openoffice.org
