How To Create A Recovery Compact Disk Without Using Any 3rd Party Software?

i am using windows XP professional, operating system….. is it possible to create a recovery disk without using any external software…. plz give me the complete procedure…. using only the OS as xp professional and its utilities and a compact disk.
