How Can I Recover My Files When I Have A Damaged Fat?

One of my hard disk partitions got damaged. I think its propably the FAT thats gone cause it shows the drive but says 0 capacity and windows cant format it says some program has blocked it. My question is how can I get back my files if i havent backed up the FAT. I got 3 file recovery software but none of it can retrieve my files. Thank you.

My comp. came factory installed with a 10gb recovery partition (D:/ drive) . Avast Anti-Virus software says it’s a possible trojan horse, but I’m not sure since it’s a necessary system file & in the right location for that drive. I’ve not noticed any unusual behaviors, unnecessary processes or lags…yet. Should I ignore or is there a way to re-install the autochk.exe file to be sure? I’ve looked all over the tech forums and such. Can’t find solid answer. Sorry for n00b question.

i have benq Dc 1300 digital camera that has only internal memory and doesn’t has option to put external memory card or like that , what can i do to recover a deleted photo from it’s internal memory , knowing that it doesn’t seen in my computer as removable device or like that for windows users , it need benq software to download the picture from it …. what can i do ?? ……and thanks …..

Graphic Card For Laptop (10 Pts For Best Answer)?

I have a compaq presario f572us. I know it has integrated vram right now but I saw somewhere that it had a pci express slot…there was even a video on how to put something there. I have a couple of questions 1) does my f572us have a pci-e(express) slot (not good with research and I only found one website which mentioned that it had a pci-e slot) 2) Is putting in a graphics card for a laptop any different from putting it in a desktop….do you just unscrew the slot and put the card in? 3) is there anything already in that slot/how can I check besides opening it 4) Do I have to get my ram up if I put in a new graphics card (I have 1gb ddr2, it can hold up to 2gb.) 5) Are pci-e cards different for desktop/laptop? 6) answer this other question I had which has to do with graphics http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;…

Hard Disk Problem, It Is Not Showing Partitions While Installing Windows Xp.?

Its a Samsung HDD. It is showing only HDD space but not showing any partition. but it has 2 partitions. I tried to install Windows, it gave redundancy error and i rebooted the machine, then it was not showing any partition but showing disk and its space. I have also tried Fixmbr in Recovery console but its not running. when i enter Recovery console it shows c: and when move to cd drive i.e. d: , i am not able to come back on c: or any other drive. Even i want to recover D drive. Plz help, how can i recover its primary partition so that i can install Windows.
