My parents are concerned about my younger sibling’s use of the computer. They spend way too much time playing games. Are there any software available that allows passwords on software before opening the programs?
We all use the same user and having different users is not the solution. I need software to allow only certain programs. Fort Knox have a program that locks your files, but that isnt going to work.
Any ideas or free ware out there? Please let me know!

I go to START>>ALL PROGRAMS>>PC RECOVERY TOOLS>>SYSTEM RECOVERY>>CLICK YES>>A window pops up and says “hp System Recovery Partition not found! No software is available for reinstallation.>>I click OK and then another window pops up and says “You may continue this process by using hp System Recovery CDs. Do you wish to continue?>>I click No and that’s it. I can’t do that system recovery thing because the software or something is missing. I have a Windows XP home editon computer. How do I fix this problem so I can restore windows back to factory shipment settings???

The HDD is being recognized in BIOS but I cant get access to it. Neither using windows XP or 98 setup nor by using recovery disks norton ghost/partition software/ Virus recovery disks…. they all either freeze or cant read the HDD.
I checked all cables and other HDDs work.
What can I do to get access??
