What Is The Best Free Article Distribution List On The Internet?

There are a lot of shaddy article banks that barely stay in business for a few months….especially since adwords doesn’t pay as much as they used to.
Can anyone recommend a VERY good article directory where if I publish my article it will get picked and republished on a multituded of other smaller sites?
